We provide confidential and professional counselling & psychotherapy. During counselling we will support you to talk about your life and your issues in a safe and respectful way. We will help you to gain better understanding and insight into your problems and emotions, and ultimately achieve a positive and constructive resolution of your issues. Your personal autonomy will be respected at all times.

Counselling Psychology is a specialty within professional psychology that maintains a focus on facilitating personal and interpersonal functioning across the life span. The practice of Counselling Psychology encompasses a broad range of culturally-sensitive practices that assists individuals and couples improve their well-being, alleviate distress and maladjustment, resolve crises, and increase their ability to function better in their lives. With its attention to both normal developmental issues and the problems associated with physical, emotional, and mental disorders, this specialization holds a unique perspective in the broader practice-based areas of psychology.
Counselling Psychologists work with clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds, in both individual and group settings. They also consult regularly with organisations seeking to enhance their effectiveness and/or the well-being of their employees.
Interventions used by Counselling Psychologists may be either brief or long-term; and they are often problem-specific and goal-directed. These activities are guided by a philosophy that values individual differences and diversity, with a focus on prevention, development, and adjustment across the life-span.
In Ireland, Counselling Psychologists adhere to the standards and ethics established by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
